To help you find out which of these new-generation budget lights best suits your riding needs, we got our hands on every rechargeable (non-alkaline) system costing less than $100 including charger. We burned them extensively on- and off-road and then rated them, considering beam pattern, run time and ease of installation.

TurboCat S10 Endurance with optional 15-watt flood (also available with 10-watt spot) provides excellent illunination. Nice strap OR mount, best case workmanship. Many options available. Only downside: short duration (1.7 hours).
