Mike, Oklahoma -
Best lite on the market!! Have tried higher wattage systems - but you see better with yours. Thanks!

Bruce, Utah - Just finished the 24-Hours of Moab - lights worked great. Our team won the Vet. Expert Class by over an hour.

Forrest, Michigan - Rode the 24-Hours of Canaan and worked excellent! You guys have the best system out there.

Luigi, Italy - Exquisite CNC work-of-art!!

Frank, Arizona - I bought this light above all others because your staff took the time to answer all of my questions before the purchase. Thanks!

Ed, Georgia - The power from that little sucker is fantastic and it has opened a whole new world of riding to me. The trails I knew so well in the day are a new experience now. I found it still hurts to crash just as much at night, though... the good part is you can1t see the blood in the dark; twisted but true.

Steven, Virginia - The DS30 is awesome, perfect for singletrack.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

TURBOCAT S47 NIMH
"Four Wheels"

If you buy this light, get it in silver. Colored anodization would only hide the beautifully done aluminum mount and light casings. The sturdy, quick-release mount not only allows the two lights to be aimed independently (vertical only), but it can be removed and installed in seconds. A switch atop the water-bottle battery turns on the 12-watt spot bulb.

Need more light?  A hook-and-loop-fastened thumb switch energizes a virtual photon-storm: a 35-watt high beam (the spot low beam stays on). This broad beam is as close to riding in daylight as we've ever experienced. Unfortunately, the low-watttage beam is a bit narrow for comfortable use on gnarly singletrack, so the battery-draining 35-watt can be on a lot.

The company plans to offer an optional wide-beam 12-watt bulb. The S47 (and its little brother, the 12-watt/20-watt model S32) are available with two water-bottle battery choices:  a 917 gram, 2.7 hour NiCad for $299, or a 650-gram, 2.5 hour nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery for $329.  Complete lights weigh 1,130 grams (NiCad) and 867 grams (NiMH). This is one of the finest lights available.

TC COMMENTS -
1. At this time, our lights are available in a choice of black, black or black.

2. We think that the standard low beam is best for a wide variety of riding situations, but an optional wide angle low beam is now available. Because the wide angle bulb has more peripheral light and less distance coverage, we feel that it is best used in a 32 watt system. (The reviewer - whose opinions we respect - has the luxury of riding almost exclusively on extremely tight and gnarly singletrack.)

3. Our thumb switch allows you to turn the "battery-draining" high beam on and OFF easily and quickly, without affecting the low beam.
