Alex, Tennessee - I love your system guys! It works like sunshine. Ray, Virginia - I don't believe you could find a better lite. Man, this is awesome. Ramsey, Minnesota - Great bright white lights & excellent responsive staff. Love everything your company has to offer. Mike, Oklahoma - Best lite on the market!! Have tried higher wattage systems - but you see better with yours. Thanks!

TURBOCAT S47 Awash in a sea of molded plastic lights sits the TurboCat line, a bold testament to the almost lost art of carefully machined aluminum (in terms of lighting equipment), not to mention that particular metals egg-frying heat transferal properties. The S47 pumps out 47 watts of light via two bulbs (one
12w, one 35w) powered by a 13.2 v NiMH battery. We mananged to get about
45 minutes of run time with both lights burning - that's about what
TurboCat claims. The mount is an elegant pair of quick-release clamps,
which are mated to a rod from which dangles a pair of bulbs. The bulbs
can swivel up and down but not side to side. There is a remote switch
that controls the high beam, while the whole unit is switched on and
off from atop the water bottle-shaped battery (which can be a bit fidgety
if you're one of those fingertip convenience types). it's one of the
lightest setups going and has the bonus of unclaspingcompletely from
the bike in seconds, leaving behind no evidence. All those skinny little
pieces of aluminum look kind of fragile, however, even though ours held
up fine. The standard light is $290 and the nickel metal is $335. |
