TURBODRIVE BATTERY TECHNOLOGY

Our TurboDrive battery provides 10% more voltage than a 12 volt battery, which increases the bulb's light output by 40%. TurboDrive, plus our high efficiency bulbs, turns the S32's 32 watts of power into 44 watts of light and the S47's 47 watts into 66. (See the technology section for more information.)

The S32 and S47 have the same low beam, which is bright enough for most riding situations - up to 20 mph or so. The difference in high beams is not so much in distance, but in coverage. The S47 high beam is wider and therefore covers more area.

This is an advantage over nearly all other single unit dual-beams: You can aim each beam where you need it. Low in close, and high further out.

When people see this light, they are amazed at how small, lightweight and beautifully machined it is. Their words, not ours.

The S32 and S47 come with CNC machined, cam-actuated QR brackets, which grip tightly in the roughest terrain. You can actually pick up the bike by holding the lights and the seat! And there are no ugly brackets left on the bars during the daytime. (Now available for Oversize 31.8mm bars.)

This little waterproof push button switch mounts right by your thumb. It allows you to turn the high beam on and off without moving your hand from the grip. And just like shifting, this quickly becomes second nature. (Not shown in big picture. Check out the What's New? page.)

NI-CAD or NICKEL-METAL HYDRIDE?

Choose either our 13.2 volt, 32-ounce, ni-cad battery, or the longer running 25-ounce ni-mh battery. The system power switch is located on the battery. And, of course, our 3-year pro-rated battery warranty covers both. Unless weight is critical, we strongly recommend the ni-cad.
