TG10 & TG15

The TrailGuide uses the same bulbs as the S10 and S15 - from 5 to 15 watts. The bulbs are interchangeable, and the optional 5 watt will deliver up to 6.2 hours of run time. The waterproof power switch is on the light and is easy to reach, even with gloves on.

NO STIFF NECKS HERE

The light can be adjusted up and down over a range of 120 degrees plus 10 degrees side to side, so you can get the beam exactly where you want it.

CNC-MACHINED

The entire light is CNC- machined and weighs only 3.5 ounces.

SIMPLE NO-BOUNCE MOUNTING SYSTEM

A beefy Velcro® strap feeds through the vent holes. When it's pulled tight to compress the Poron® rubber pads, there's no chance of the light bouncing around. A special strap holds the wire in place at the rear of the helmet.

Note: It's important that your helmet straps are tight. In the daytime you won't notice a little bouncing, but at night it'll drive you crazy!

LEAD-ACID, NI-CAD or NI-MH BATTERIES

Three battery types offer real choices in run-time, weight, and price. LINK below for details on specifications and prices. We strongly recommend the ni-cad. Most people are not bothered by the extra weight in their Camelbak.

HELMET LIGHT ALONE?

If you plan to start night riding with just one light, we usually recommend a bar system. Helmet lights don't provide shadows and that can confuse your depth perception and make texture (rocks, roots, etc.) in the trail hard to see.

However, if you have friends the use helmet lights by themselves, or know that lots of locals use that setup, go for it!

LEAD-ACID, Ni-CAD, or NICKEL METAL HYDRIDE BATTERIES

These TurboDrive batteries are designed to be carried in a fanny pack or Camelbak®. Because of it's superior long term performamce, we strongly recommend the ni-cad.

BIKE MOUNT or HELMET MOUNT?

Helmet lights allow you to see into corners, anticipate climbs, look down drop-offs, blind your riding buddies, and see some amazing animals. But their shadowless, flat perspective can confuse your depth perception and make obstacles hard to see. Bike lights create the shadows that allow you to see details clearly, but their light goes only where your handlebars are pointed.

Singletrack is way more "rideable" and fun when you have both bike and helmet lights. See our DualSource info.
